NEW Registration fees

All ISOLA members and all conference participants – panelists and individual contributors – must pay ISOLA membership dues as well as conference fees. 

ISOLA MEMBERSHIP

ISOLA dues are indexed on the country income classification of the World Bank. Scholars and students living and working in High Income countries pay the full rate (100%). Dues are calculated in US Dollars as follows:

Full-time scholars (two years)

• High Income – $100 (France, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, Portugal, United Kingdom, United States)
• Middle Income Upper Tier – $85 (Botswana, Russian Federation, South Africa)
• Middle Income Lower Tier – $65 (Cameroon, Egypt, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, Senegal, Tanzania)
• Low Income – $45 (Burkina Faso, Chad, Guinea, Mali, Niger, Rwanda)

Independent scholars and students (two years)

• High Income – $65 (France, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, Portugal, United Kingdom, United States)
• Middle Income Upper Tier – $55 (Botswana, Russian Federation, South Africa)
• Middle Income Lower Tier – $42 (Cameroon, Egypt, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, Senegal, Tanzania)
• Low Income  – $30 (Burkina Faso, Chad, Guinea, Mali, Niger, Rwanda)

Dues are payable on a two-yearly basis. Please note that this includes new members. Dues cover certain conferences expenses as well as post-conference services, website fees and maintenance and, when required, costs related to translation and to the publication of conference proceedings.

ISOLA 15 CONFERENCE FEES

Full-time scholars in Europe/Asia/North America: $135/$165

Students/independent researchers Europe/Asia/North America: $60/$90

Full-time scholars in Africa: $55/$80

Students/independent researchers Africa: $12/$30

Local (Nigeria) full-time scholars: ₦25,000

Local (Nigeria) students/independent researchers: ₦10,000

The lower rate for each category of fees is an early bird special offer to participants who pay by 30th of June 2025.

Local researchers can only pay in local currency on-site, or transfer the amount due in $.
